At last I found [https://www.knockonwood.co.uk/Performance-percussion-25-key-glockenspiel a decent quality glokenspiel] from [https://www.knockonwood.co.uk/knockonwood.co.uk]. I've also purchased a Bodhran (Celtic drum) from them and both items have been of excellent quality.
I probably should have searched for a Glockenspiel instead of a Xylophone, I might have had better luck in the first place!
