I think I packed everything except the kitchen sink (or ask Chris and he will probably say that was in the bag as well)
As I'd never done this before I didn't have a clue what to take so ended up with loads (suitcase)
==For Labour==
Nightie (an old one for labour, then you can throw it away afterwards)
Dressing Gown
Slippers
Socks (your feet can get cold)
Massage oils/lotions
Lip Balm
Drinks and Snacks
Music
Books
Hairbands/clips (if your hair is long)
==What your Partner might need==
Change of clothes (he might get wet if you are having a water birth OR he might be there a long time)
Comfortable shoes
==After the birth==
Nighties x 4
Nursing Bra x 3
Pants x 8
Nursing pads
Sanitary towels
===Toiletries===
Shampoo/Conditioner
Deodarant
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
Shower Gel
Sponge/Flannel
Hairbrush
Any other lotions and potions you use
==What you will need for baby==
Vests x 6
Babygros x 6
Nappies
Scratch mitts x 3
Bibs/Muslins
babywipes/Cotton Wool
Socks
==Going home==
Car seat
Warm Jacket
Blanket
Going home outfit
Hat
==Other things you will need==
Mobile Phone
Mobile Phone Charger
Camera
Camera Batteries/Charger
Also DON'T forget your Maternity Notes and Birth Plan
On looking back I didn't need all that with me at one time, Chris could have brought things in as I needed them, we could have left a bag in the car.
I would advice to have your bag ready by the time you get to 34 weeks, you just never know. Have it somewhere were it easy to grab on your way out the door.
My bag was packed and unpacked so many times it was unreal.
